Here are the most asked questions about us:

  • A skoolie is a unique and innovative approach to mobile living. Essentially, it is a converted school bus that has been transformed into a functional and comfortable living space. Skoolies offer individuals and families the opportunity to have a cozy home on wheels, allowing them to adventure and explore while still having the comforts of home.

  • The main difference is that the Tier 1 is a partially converted skoolie while the Tier 2 is a turn-key ready home. In the Tier 1, we install the more difficult portions of the build like the plumbing, insulation, and shore powered electrical system. It does not include cabinets, furniture, flooring, etc.

  • A Tier 3 is simply a Tier 2 with upgrades/extras. Our Tier 3 is our most popular product because upgrades/extras give you the capability to be “off-grid” for longer periods of time.

  • While we have a resource available titled “Where to Buy a Bus” we do not personally purchase the vehicles for our clients. We ask that all clients bring the bus to our shop and pick it up from our shop.

  • In general, our company must be the ones to purchase all items installed in the bus. However, certain exceptions can be made for smaller items like cabinet pulls.

  • We do not personally offer financing, but we recently partnered with a company called LoanGlide that may finance up for $50,000. For more information about our financing option, visit this page here.

  • We don’t charge our clients to demo the bus so we can’t offer discounts for buses that already have the demo done. However, it can decrease the project timeline by up to a week, depending on your vehicle.

  • All of our builds are inspected from the ground up by a third-party certifier - NOAH. Because of this, in most cases we aren’t able to work on mobile homes that are already/partially built. However, depending on the work we still may still be able to help so please feel free to reach out to us.

  • At this time, all of the floorplans that we create are completely customizable, however; we do have some pre-built floor plans if you are interested in seeing the options available.

  • Yes! So far, we have worked on vans, coaches, city transit buses, school buses, and box trucks.

  • Yes! So far we have built a retail shop on wheels, a bar bus, a mobile education center, and a fragrance bus.

  • It depends on the service but in general, yes. Solar system installs (which we install on RVs, too!) are our most popular a la carte service.
